De stortplaats Rheinbaben ligt in Gladbeck tussen Ellinghorst en Bottrop-Boy ten zuiden van de A2. Op de stortplaats werd puin van de mijn Rheinbaben gestort. Na de sluiting van de mijn in 1967 werd het terrein grotendeels aan zichzelf overgelaten. Sinds 2001 is het als natuurgebied aangewezen en toegankelijk via wandelpaden.
