Met de Rheinuferpromenade wordt de aangepaste oever van de Rijn bij de Düsseldorfer stadsdelen Altstadt, Carlstadt en Hafen aangeduid. Ook andere steden hebben Rheinuferpromenades; hier omvat het de straten Tonhallenufer, Schlossufer, Rathausufer en Mannesmannufer.
De promenade ontstond tijdens de Rijn-oeveruitbreiding in de jaren 1898 tot 1902. Destijds werden er twee niveaus aangelegd. Het onderste niveau diende voor de afhandeling van de scheepvaart en bood ruimte voor de daarvoor noodzakelijke voorzieningen. Op het bovenste niveau was er toen al een promenade.
