Het natuurreservaat Östringer Erlenwald ligt op het grondgebied van de gemeente Ubstadt-Weiher en de stad Östringen in de Landkreis Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemberg.
Het gebied, dat uit drie deelgebieden bestaat, strekt zich uit ten zuidwesten van de kernstad Östringen langs de Schindelbach aan beide zijden van de provinciale weg K 3586. Ten noorden van het gebied loopt de B 292.
