Schwabes tuin is de behouden tuin van het voormalige landgoed van de Joodse familie Schwabe in Varel.
De familie woonde sinds het eerste kwart van de 19e eeuw in een hoekhuis in de Nedersaksische stad en exploiteerde daar een textielgroothandel en een warenhuis. De laatste in Varel woonachtige generatie van de familie Schwabe-Barlewin, Curt met zijn vrouw Frieda, geboren Roseno, en de twee zonen Arthur David en Paul Jakob, vluchtte in september/oktober 1938, enkele dagen voor de Reichspogromnacht, naar de VS.
