De Edertalschule is een traditioneel gymnasium in Frankenberg. Het ligt in het zuidwestelijke deel van de Landkreis Waldeck-Frankenberg in Hessen en is het enige gymnasium in het oude district Frankenberg, waarvan het werkgebied tot op de dag van vandaag omvat is. Vanwege deze omstandigheid is het, ondanks de eerder landelijke ligging, een van de grootste gymnasiums in Hessen naar aantal leerlingen.
