De Nonnenberg is een deels beboste berg tussen Bad Tabarz en Waltershausen, het wijkdeel Fischbach in de gemeente Gotha.
Met een hoogte van 439,7 m boven NAP vormt de Nonnenberg de oostelijke grens van het Emsetal binnen de gemeente. De oostelijke top staat op kaarten bekend als "Wachkuppe" en heeft een hoogte van 475,9 m boven NAP. Onder de naam Nonnenberg was er ook een huizenrij die direct ten noordoosten van de locatie Cabarz lag en vermoedelijk in verband stond met de grote branden in Tabarz van 1821, die tijdelijk zijn politieke onafhankelijkheid verkreeg maar in 1866 al opging in de gemeente Cabarz.
