Langburkersdorf is een ooit zelfstandige dorp, dat vanaf 1994 deel uitmaakte van de nieuw gevormde gemeente Hohwald en in 2007 een deelgemeente van Neustadt in Sachsen werd in de Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge.
Het dorp ligt aan de oostkant direct tegen Neustadt aan. Het ligt tussen het Hohwald en het noordelijke voorland van het Elbsandsteingebirge. In het zuiden wordt het begrensd door de heuvel van de Ungers, in het noorden door het Hohwald, in het westen door Neustadt en in het oosten door de Tsjechische landsgrens. De Polenz en enkele van haar zijrivieren stromen erdoorheen.
