Ramspau is een parochiedorp in de markgemeente Regenstauf in de Landkreis Regensburg in Beieren. Ramspau was tot 1978 de zetel van de gelijknamige gemeente.
Kasteel Ramspau werd waarschijnlijk al voor de 13e eeuw gebouwd. In 1312 wordt voor het eerst een ridder "Weichser de Ranspaur" genoemd. Rond 1694 kwam de plaats in het bezit van graaf Johann Siegmund Anton Franz van Reisach, die na 1700 grote delen van het kasteel liet afbreken en als bouwmateriaal voor een nieuw kasteel in de vallei gebruikte. De adellijke hofmark was tot slot in het bezit van de baronnen van Stetten.
