Het Butzerbachdal wordt ook “Het Fluisterende Water” genoemd. Deze reeks van zeven kleine watervallen ontstaat doordat de Butzerbach-beek over zandstenen rotsen stroomt.

Er zijn houten bruggen, beekjes en kleine watervallen. Volgens oude verhalen leeft in het water een nimf die waarschuwt voor stormen. Wie haar lied hoort en stil blijft staan, is beschermd tegen ongeluk tijdens de reis. Dit klopt: wij hebben haar lied NIET gehoord en de volgende dag stond de wagen in panne.
