Het Hjulsporet heet op de kadastrale kaart Mastrup Byvej en is een ouwe verkeersader. De weg kruist Mastrup Bæk zonder enige vorm van aanleg over een zogeheten doorwaadbare plaats, wat in vroegere tijden gebruikelijk was. Men reed gewoon dwars door de waterloop, waar de bodem stevig was en het water ondiep. Tegenwoordig zijn er overal bruggen of buisdoorvallen waar de kleinste weg het kleinste waterloop kruist. De doorwaadbare plaats in Mastrup is daarom een klein stukje cultuurhistorie, dat hopelijk bewaard blijft doordat grondeigenaren af en toe nog door de waterloop rijden.
