In de jaren 1950 werden langere stukken van de waterlopen Tøttrup Bæk en Rebstrup Møllebæk ondergronds gelegd. Het doel was om de landbouw in de twee kleine dalen te verbeteren. Drie jaar later drong de renovatie van de leidingen zich op. In plaats van de waterlopen opnieuw onder de grond te leggen, werden de betonnen buizen opgegraven en de open waterlopen hersteld. De planten- en dierenwereld is teruggekeerd, en de twee kleine dalen zijn weer "echte" dalen geworden.
