Hier is een uitkijktoren opgericht, van waaruit men uitzicht heeft over de bergen, de stad Hjørring en de Noordzee. Vanuit de toren is er een prachtig uitzicht over het landschap. Smidths Plantage ligt als onaangeraakte bos.
