De École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr is de belangrijkste en meest prestigieuze militaire school voor kandidaat-officieren in Frankrijk.
De school werd gesticht in de Napoleontische Era in 1802 door Napoleon zelf. De lessen hadden plaats in Fontainebleau tot en met 1808. In dat jaar werd de school verplaatst naar Saint-Cyr-l'École, een voorstad van Parijs. Daarvan komt de naam van de school. In 1945 werd de school verplaatst naar zijn definitieve locatie, Coëtquidan, in Bretagne.
