In de Valléé de Gavarnie komen we deze pont tegen. Het blijkt een brug te zijn die in opdracht van Napoleon gebouwd is en daardoor ook zijn naam heeft gekregen. Pont Napoleon. De weg uit Luz-Saint-Sauveur loopt via deze brug over de rivier,die beneden in de diepte tussen de steile wanden van de kloof stroomt. Uitzicht op de kloof is indrukwekkend
