De mont des Avaloirs, met een hoogte van 416 meter, is het hoogste punt van het Armorikaanse Massief en van het Grote Westen. Het ligt in het departement Mayenne, op de grens met dat van Orne, in Pré-en-Pail, in het hart van het Multonne-bos. Het is de belangrijkste top van de lange reeks heuvels van Normandië en heeft het aanzien van een plateau van heide en magere weilanden. De site is sinds 25 september 2020 opgenomen in het regionale natuurreservaat Mont des Avaloirs.
