Het gebied Shropshire Hills , in het Engelse graafschap Shropshire , is aangewezen als Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ( AONB ). Het ligt in het zuiden van de provincie en strekt zich uit tot aan de grens met Wales . Aangewezen in 1958, omvat het gebied 802 vierkante kilometer (310 vierkante mijl) grond voornamelijk in het zuidwesten van Shropshire, ontleend aan de hooggelegen regio van de Shropshire Hills . De weg A49 en de spoorlijn Welsh Marches doorsnijden het gebied noord-zuid, passerend door of nabij Shrewsbury , Church Stretton , Craven Arms en Ludlow .
