Winchester is een zeer oude stad, al sinds 2000 voor Christus werd ze bewoond. In de binnenstad vind men vele imposante gebouwen. De kathedraal van Winchester uit de twaalfde eeuw is de langste in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. In de imposante Great Hall, een overblijfsel van het oude Koninklijk Paleis werd de ronde tafel van Koning Arthur ondergebracht. Ontdek het allemaal langs deze stadswandeling, die start en eindigt aan het treinstation.
