De Marecchia is een rivier in het oosten van Italië. In de oudheid stond hij bekend als de Ariminus, wat afkomstig is van het Griekse Aríminos. De bron van de rivier ligt nabij Monte dei Frati, ten oosten van Pieve Santo Stefano en ten zuidwesten van Badia Tedalda in de provincie Arezzo in Toscane. Hij stroomt naar het noordoosten in de provincie Pesaro en Urbino in de Marche en is de enige rivier die door Montefeltro stroomt. Terwijl hij door Montefeltro stroomt, stroomt de rivier door de exclave Santa Sofia Marecchia, die behoort tot Badia Tedalda. De rivier stroomt vervolgens langs Sant'Agata Feltria en Novafeltria voordat hij de provincie Rimini in Emilia-Romagna binnenstroomt. Bij Torello, een deel van de gemeente San Leo, stroomt hij 1 km ten westen van het Sammarinese grondgebied Acquaviva en de San Marino-rivier stroomt erin, maar de Marecchia raakt de grens van San Marino niet. Uiteindelijk stroomt de rivier langs Verucchio en Santarcangelo di Romagna voordat hij in de Adriatische Zee stroomt nabij Rimini.
