Het Piazza Napoleon is een groot plein in het historische centrum van Luccan. Het Piazza Napoleon dat ook wel bekend staat onder de naam Piazaa Grande is aangelegd in het begin van de negentiende eeuw. Op de plaats van het plein was vroeger een middeleeuws fort te vinden. Het plein is gebouwd in opdracht van de zus van Napoleon. Oorspronkelijk was er een groot beeld van Napoleon gepland op het plein maar deze is er nooit gekomen. Wel staat er een standbeeld van Maria Luisa van Bourban. Tegelijkertijd met het plein is het Palazzo Ducale aan het plein gebouwd.
Tegenwoordig is het Piazza Napoleon een autovrij plein waar met regelmaat markten en evenementen worden gehouden. Op het Piazza Napoleon wordt ieder jaar het Lucca Summer Festival gehouden.
