naar Boutique Hotel Aurora aan de 3 Via dell'Apollinare, 06049 Spoleto PG, Italië. 

Door de Val d'Orcia van Toscane naar Umbrië langs stadjes bovenop de heuvel zoals San Quirico met zijn cipressen, Pienza met UNESCO beschermde landschappen, Montechiello en Montepulciano. Eens voor bij het lago di Trasimeno is het puur rijplezier kronkelend naar Mugnano, Marsciano. Langs het oude Todi en dan weer de pas over tot in Spoleto.

Tip: angolodelbuongustaio.com heeft echt wel zijn naam niet gestolen. Gewoonweg heerlijk om net als de vele Italiaanse bekendheden op het terrasje in het oude centrum van Castiglione del lago te genieten van een fondue van pecorino met truffel of warme bereide kippelevertjes...
