Deze eigenaardige heuvel werd in de James Bond film Spectre gebruikt als decor voor het hoofdkantoor van SPECTRE. In de film wordt gesteld dat deze plek een inslagkrater is van de oudste meteoriet op aarde, de "Kartenhoff". Dat klopt helemaal niet. Allereerst is dit geen inslagkrater, maar een "cirque" die is ontstaan door erosie. Maar dat doet niets af aan de schoonheid van deze plek. Ten tweede is de Kartenhoff een fictieve meteoriet, laat staan de oudste.
