Het Vorstendom Monaco is een kleine Europese staat gelegen aan de Middellandse Zee, dat bestaat uit de enige stad Monaco. Het ligt aan de Côte d'Azur, tussen de Franse steden Nice en Menton. Het heeft een oppervlakte van 1,95 km² en een bevolking van 36.950 inwoners.
Monaco heeft geen grote geografische afwijkingen, aangezien het vorstendom slechts 1,95 km² groot is. Het gebied is een kuststrook ingeklemd binnen de Franse regio Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur en bestaat uit heuvels, baaitjes en een strand.
