Zwartewaterland ; Nedersaksisch: Zwärtewäterlaand) is een gemeente in de Nederlandse provincie Overijssel, genoemd naar het Zwarte Water. In 2001 zijn de gemeenten Genemuiden, Zwartsluis en Hasselt hierin samengegaan. Vooral vanuit Genemuiden was er veel verzet tegen de opheffing van de gemeente.Het openbaar vervoer in de gemeente Zwartewaterland wordt verzorgd door OV Regio IJsselmond .
