Leusden ) is een gemeente en plaats in de Nederlandse provincie Utrecht en ligt ongeveer 3 kilometer ten zuidoosten van Amersfoort. De gemeente telt 30.712 inwoners en heeft een oppervlakte van 62,02 km² . Inwoners worden Leusdenaren genoemd.Het westelijke deel van de gemeente ligt op de hellingen van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug, en is grotendeels bedekt met bos en heidevelden. De oostelijke delen liggen in de Gelderse Vallei en is vooral landbouwgrond.
