Description

De Sint Petruskerk stamt uit 990! Toen werd hier een tufstenen kerkje gebouwd. De huidige (gotische) kerk en toren stammen uit circa 1300. De kerk heeft een toren van 74,5 meter hoog, die je mag beklimmen.
In de Beekse Toren (van de Sint Petruskerk) ligt het boek Origines Antwerpianae waarin Jan van Gorp zijn theorie van Becanus heeft uiteengezet.
