Eygelshoven is een dorp in het zuidoosten van de Nederlandse provincie Limburg dat behoort tot de gemeente Kerkrade. De plaats was ooit bekend vanwege de steenkolenwinning. Tot aan de gemeentelijke herindeling van 1982 vormde het een zelfstandige gemeente. Het aantal inwoners van de kern bedroeg in 2021 ongeveer 2.175; inclusief de omliggende buurten Hopel, De Vink en Waubacherveld telde de bevolking ruim 5.440 personen.
