De Nederlands hervormde dorpskerk dateert vermoedelijk uit de 14e eeuw. De toren verrees in het begin van de 16e eeuw. De Blaricumse architect Theo Rueter restaureerde de kerk in 1934 ingrijpend en gaf de kerk een romantische landhuisstijl. Hij bouwde aan de achterzijde van de kerk, op de plaats van het koor, de consistorie. De kerk is nu nog in gebruik.
