De
Sint-Hubertusmolen werd in 1802 gebouwd in opdracht van boer Willem Kerckhoffs
uit Klein Genhout. Tussen 1814 en 1826 werd de molen dichtgemaakt en sindsdien
is het een zogenoemde gesloten standerdmolen.
De molen
wordt in 1928 door de familie Kerckhoffs verkocht aan molenaar Louis Voncken.
De molen blijft tot de jaren veertig van de vorige eeuw in gebruik en raakt
daarna in verval. Omdat er nog maar weinig wordt gemalen takelt de molen
zienderogen af. In 1970 koopt de Gemeente Beek de molen voor het symbolische
bedrag van 1 gulden. De gemeente restaureert en renoveert de molen grondig.
Sindsdien is de Hubertusmolen een rijksmonument en bijzondere
bezienswaardigheid.
