De huizen ‘Post en Enk’ en ‘De Zaaier’ stammen uit 1908, de tijd van de modelboerderij. In de Zaaier werden in de jaren dertig de hervormde kerkdiensten gehouden. Ook heeft het huis als sigarenwinkel, christelijke school en kroeg dienst gedaan. De naam ‘Meez en Broek’ is van recente datum. Het huis ‘Post en Enk’ is nooit postkantoor geweest, de naam stamt af van een oud bosperceel op de Duno. In het huis woonde van 1968 tot zijn dood in 1981 de literator Cornelis Jan Kelk.
