Dit is de tweede etappe van een driedaagse fietsroute die vanuit Lissabon naar het noorden voert langs de kustplaatsen Ericeira en Praia da Areia Branca en uiteindelijk eindigt bij het station van Torres Vedras.
Op de tweede dag gaat de route soms dicht langs zee, soms verder landinwaarts. Veel op en neer, soms behoorlijk steil. Delen van de route onverhard.
