Het Museum voor Wetenschap en Industrie (MSI) is gevestigd in het voormalige Paleis van Schone Kunsten van de Wereldtentoonstelling van 1893. Het museum herbergt diverse en uitgebreide collecties, waaronder een werkende kolenmijn, een Duitse onderzeeër (U-505) die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd buitgemaakt, een modelspoorbaan van 325 vierkante meter, de eerste dieselgedreven, gestroomlijnde passagierstrein van roestvrij staal (Pioneer Zephyr) en een NASA-ruimtecapsule die werd gebruikt tijdens de Apollo 8-missie.
Het Museum voor Wetenschap en Industrie is een van de belangrijkste culturele attracties in Chicago.
