Due to the lack of cycling competitions because of covid19, as a cyclist, the idea arose to explore the gravel and cobblestone paths in and around Oostkamp. We start at Café Oud Stuiveneberge, where there are parking and drink+snack options available for payment. Using car-free roads is an absolute thrill as a cyclist. The route of 135 km can be shortened at any time, as we stay within a radius of 25 km with the road bike. This is done on strade bianche tires of 28mm or Paris-Roubaix tires for that extra feeling of security to avoid flat tires. A gravel bike or MTB is more than suitable for this route of gravel paths, which includes 2x a forest path and numerous cobbles. This route is a worthy alternative to experience the tension in the calves and immerse yourself fully in a race feeling. However, the wind has free rein, but you can also enjoy natural areas. Unfortunately, the ride cannot be followed overall with a follow vehicle.
