The Belgian place Lommersweiler was until 1976 the namesake main town of an independent municipality and is today a district of the local community of St. Vith in Belgium with about 252 inhabitants in the main town and 1,176 in the former local municipality.
The place belongs to the German-speaking community in East Belgium. Lommersweiler is located in the eastern Ardennes at the transition to the West Eifel near the border to Germany and lies on a ridge above the valleys of the Our and Braunlauf at an altitude between about 370 m O.P. in the valley at the confluence of both waters and 510 m on the ridge.
