Il comune belga di Lommersweiler è stato fino al 1976 il comune principale autonomo e oggi è una frazione del comune di San Vito in Belgio con circa 252 abitanti nel centro abitato e 1176 nella ex comunità locale.
Il comune fa parte della Comunità di lingua tedesca in Belgio orientale. Lommersweiler si trova a est delle Ardenne, al confine con la Eifel occidentale, vicino al confine con la Germania, e si trova su un crinale sopra le valli dell'Our e del Braunlauf a un'altitudine di circa 370 m O.P. nella valle alla confluenza dei due corsi d'acqua e 510 m sulla cresta montuosa.
