Camping The Orchard

Location.
Camping de Boomgaard is located on the banks of the Maas in the beautiful village of Aldeneik, part of the Maasvallei Landscape Park. The campsite is situated between two marinas, next to the Mynekomplas nature reserve, and near various cafés and restaurants. In 10 minutes by bike, you can reach the historic market of Maaseik. Intersection 25 of the Cycling Route Network is nearby.
Accommodation
Camping de Boomgaard offers safari tents and pitches for campers, caravans, and tents.
There are five safari tents accommodating six people, all with a stunning view of the Maas. The four-person tents overlook the vineyards of Wijndomein Aldeneyck and have private sanitary facilities. The two-person tents include a bed, refrigerator, and coffee maker.
There are hard-standing pitches available for campers and caravans, making the site accessible during winter. All pitches are equipped with electricity and water connections, have WIFI, and are a short distance from hot showers, toilets, chemical toilets, and washing tables.
Advantages
Camping de Boomgaard is a small-scale and quiet camping site in a fantastic location right by the Maas, and among cherry trees. Nature and recreation come together here. It's the ideal base for walking and cycling trips in the Maasland. Bicycles, SUPs, and kayaks can be rented, and there are even options for water skiing, wakeboarding, or fun tubing. Fishing is possible from the bank at the campsite. There are various dining options within walking distance, and a wine tasting at Wijndomijn Aldeneyck is highly recommended! Our audience mainly consists of active peace seekers who enjoy walking and cycling. The campsite does not have a playground, but the Beverland playground is 1 kilometer further. The Hoge Kempen National Park is also just a few kilometers away.
