This remarkable half-timbered house with cantilevers is called the Spanish House but also the House of the Mayor .
It dates from before 1590 . It was once an inn and the seat of the Grupont Court of Justice . Here the four Jamin sisters were declared witches in 1618 by the court of the Inquisition and sentenced to be burned at the stake . The village honors the memory of these four victims through 8 panels that tell their story
In 1855, the house became the property of the miller Clément Herman and his descendants.
