An ideal circuit for a short outing. Just a stone's throw from Givet, it offers a beautiful viewpoint over the city and the Meuse river that overlooks the fortress of Charlemont.

D/A Go along the post office towards the river stop via Meuse Quay Street. Take the first street on the right and follow the stream of La Houille for 300m. 1 Turn left onto Boulevard Bourck. 2 After the bridge, take the second street on the right and follow the hiking trail of Moulin Boreux along La Houille for 1.6km (vehicle barrier at the beginning of the trail). 3 At the fork, turn left (MTB link to circuit 27 on the right). Reach the village via Manufacture Street. 4 Turn right in front of the Fromelennes kiosk, then left onto Félixpré Street (access to the Grotto of Nichet). Continue and leave Fromelennes. Pass in front of an imposing farm building (former Félixpré abbey). Be cautious at the intersection with a very busy departmental road. Continue on the gravel path along the former customs. 5 Follow the dirt path on the left, pass a kennel and climb the rural path of Gyptienne at the edge of the woods. 6 At the intersection, turn left onto the bush track (viewpoint over Givet and the Meuse). At the next intersection, continue straight ahead and then turn left to descend towards Givet (vehicle exit at the bottom of the descent). 7 Turn left onto Famenne Street and immediately turn right to descend to the gymnasium. At the intersection, turn right onto Paradise Street along La Houille. At the end of the street, turn left and return to the starting point.
