PR 115 "Le Chab'Othain"
1/ Leave the parking lot, take the left onto Ladela Street. At the fork, go up the cobbled path to reach the forest house of l’Embuscade. Continue right for 2.1 km until you reach a turning point.
2/ Take the forestry path straight ahead. After 600 m and a few turns, turn left and descend a steep slope (caution). Continue right along the edge of the wood for 600 m. At the T-junction, go left, [Chêne de l’Attaque >] cross the stream Le Chabot, then to the left, follow the stream on the left. After 500 m you will arrive at Iré-les-Prés.
3/ Before the church, turn right onto Rue des Cannes, cross the D 643 (caution) and continue straight until the D 118. Take it to the right, enter Villécloye and cross the Othain.
4/ At the crossroads, take the right onto Rue de l'Église, continue left onto Rue du Chaufour, pass in front of the cemetery and continue the ascent by the paved path. At the intersection of paths, on the edge of the woods, bear right and continue into the forest. The path crosses the ridge, descends along the slope, exits the woods, and arrives at the church of Bazeilles-sur-Othain.
5/ Leave the church on your left, turn right and descend left onto Rue Gourdy. Cross the bridge and go up Rue Haute. At the calvary, take the small road to the left for 1 km. At the exit of the woods, continue straight, leaving the farm of Haut-Mont on your right and continue for 1.7 km.
6/ At the T-junction, take the right onto D 208 for 80 m then turn right. After 1.6 km, at the fork, continue left then again left along the edge of the woods. Pass in front of a calvary. At the reservoir, continue straight on Rue Haute. Enter Iré-le-Sec and arrive at D 643. Cross it (caution), and return to the starting point.
