Il Funival è l'unico funicolare di Val-d'Isère e consente di accedere a una piattaforma sotto la sommità della roccia di Bellevarde, nei pressi dell'arrivo della Telecabina 3S dell'Olympique, del TSD6 Marmottes Express, del TSD4 Loyes Express e del TSD6 Fontaine Froide. Dal punto di vista storico, è il primo funicolare sotterraneo della Francia
, anche se il primo terzo è all'aperto. Un'ispezione è stata condotta nell'estate del 2013 dalle squadre della STVI sul funicolare in stazione a La Daille. Il Funival parte da La Daille e dopo alcune centinaia di metri entra in un tunnel da cui riemerge dietro la roccia di Bellevarde. Fa parte dei due funicolari dell'Espace Killy insieme al Funicolare Perce-Neige.
