One of the typical phenomena of the deeply incised valleys is that water is not only supplied via the stream. Rainwater flows from the steep slopes and seepage water flows from the valley flanks. As a result, it is quite wet at the foot of the slopes and we find spring and trouser forests. The brown seepage water can often be on the road for hundreds of years and emerges as a broth in lower places. Because it is rich in lime and iron and is very nutrient-poor, special plants such as gold auction and dotter flower can grow there. The brown color of the spring water is caused by the oxidation of the iron with the oxygen from the air.
