The Regge is one of the largest small rivers in the Netherlands. A stream of barely a meter wide begins in Diepenheim and ends as a wide river over seventy kilometers further north at the Vecht near Ommen. To the east of the Salland Ridge, the river meanders through the typical Twente hedgerow landscape.
This cycling route takes you from the source to the mouth of the Regge at the Vecht near Ommen. By bike, you pass through beautiful forests and alongside meadows, and by the babbling waters of the Regge, you are guaranteed to find peace. The route follows the course of the Regge as much as possible via paved cycling paths.
