Starting from Novion-Porcien and this path n°38, you will follow both meadows and the stream of "Plumion". You will see the old quarry of Novion-Porcien and gently apprehend the brick buildings and the hills standing out in the landscape.
At the starting sign, head right from the starting sign onto "Rue du Culot".
After 200m, turn right to take the grassy path.
Continue for 500m then proceed on the left path, where you will discover many floral species.
Further down, after 300m, turn right before continuing on the path and then turning right again to follow the stream "Le Plumion".
At the farm, turn left (marker 6/28) then right to reach the road.
At the Provisy bridge, turn left then right a few meters later to follow the stream of "Plumion".
At the second bridge, turn left to take "impasse des quatre vents" for 330m.
At the shed, take the left path (marker 10/28).
Continue until you reach the road and proceed on the path in front after crossing the D14.
Join another section of the road 100m further and cross the D21.
Continue straight for 1km until "Rue de la Marlière".
This time, cross the D8 to continue on the path that will take you to the right of a metal silo and continue until you cross a fording before climbing back onto a road.
Here, turn left (marker 17/28) then 100m later turn right to take a new path. This will lead you to the old quarry.
Descend on this path to reach the road. Then turn right (marker 20/28).
Continue on this road for 390m before turning left and 180m further, take the left path (marker 23/28) which will take you across a metal footbridge.
Climb the hill for a distance of 1.3km then cross the courtyard of the "Ferme de la Herse" to reach the road to Rethel.
Turn left (marker 25/28) then walk along this road for 300m.
Then turn right towards the community hall. After the police station, turn left.
Continue straight down the alley in front to return to your starting point.
