The route takes you through many neighborhoods where you would otherwise rarely visit. Count on a day to travel the route quietly. Of course, you can only use parts of the route and come up with your own variation.
The selection of the streets was made on the basis of 1698 votes by the readers of het Parool. I can attest that it's hard to be wrong with so many at once. Connecting those streets is my personally beloved route through the city.
