REMSTAL Vinomaten-Tour 1: Vom Gundelsbacher Tal durch die Weinberge

This can only be found in the Rems Valley: pleasure meets a place of growth and prosperity. The first of three beautiful hikes in the Rems Valley for nature, pleasure and wine lovers. The rule here is: don't hurry, take a break!

A beautiful circular hiking trail starting from Grunbach, along the way you will find the Bernhard Ellwanger winery, the Klopfer winery, the Gold winery and the "Zum Türmle" restaurant. The Bernhard Ellwanger winery in Großheppach invites you to enjoy Ellwanger wine at any time, either planned or spontaneously, at the wine vending machine right in the courtyard next to the regular wine shop. Wine glasses and water are also available. A beautiful hike along the Großheppach wine and history trail leads from here to the Luitenbächer Höhe viewing platform.

The next stop is the Klopfer winery at the entrance to Gundelsbach. With over 500 years of tradition, the focus has always been on dry wines made from classic grape varieties. Since the 2015 vintage, all wines have been certified organic.

Heading north, with Gundelsbach on the right, the path leads to the rather young Gold winery. In 2015, Leon Gold fulfilled his dream of owning his own winery. Since then, the estate has grown to a good 12 hectares. The "Zum Türmle" restaurant is located on the way from the Klopfer winery to the Gold winery. The Lenz family knows how to spoil their guests with genuine Swabian cuisine. In summer, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding vineyards from the terrace. Of course, you can also walk the tour in the opposite direction and lay the "foundation" for wine hopping with a good Swabian menu in the "Türmle". There is also a vending machine here (sausages, sauces from "Türmle" and apple spritzer from Beutelsbacher Fruchtsäfte).
