Brewery The Star

Former brewery of the De Jonghe-Erix family, established in 1810. Remaining buildings from the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, currently included in a revaluation area, unfinished renovation works started in 1976. Former L-shaped planted industrial buildings, brick construction of two and three stories with the use of natural stone and sintered brick. Main building (former brewery hall) rhythmically accentuated by pilasters, topped with an openwork railing, arched roof with ventilation system; rectangular and round-arched windows. At the corner, a square tower under a tent roof, adjacent to an outbuilding under tiled gable roof.
