Once a moorland with dunes, today a vast coniferous forest with perpendicular drives and some fields. After an idyllic passage along the Poppelse Beemd, on the banks of the winding Aa, you come across the historic Rovertkapel. According to legend, this is where in 1735 the loot from a raid on the church of Poppel was found intact.
