After cycling along the Deûle canal and Roubaix, you will reach the city that was one of the world capitals of textiles at the beginning of the 20th century. Roubaix is also famous for its velodrome, the finishing point of the legendary Paris-Roubaix cycling race with its many cobbled strips. Via Picardy Wallonia and the village of Leers-Nord, you then enter Belgium and finally arrive at Kluisberg, the wooded hill of the Pays des Collines.

Orientation

Follow the Canal de la Deûle and turn right onto the Canal de Roubaix. Beyond the border, the name changes to the Spierekanaal before flowing into the Scheldt. In the village of Escanaffles, you leave the banks of the Scheldt and follow the Rhosnes to the Kluisberg.
