Hagenpad Limburg East

For those who are excited about views: a half-day hike (with the possibility of extension).
Best on a dry day, as the descent from Limburg to Vesder in Dolhain is quite dangerous. Not recommended with small (or too adventurous) children. Please be careful when crossing the heavily trafficked road Dolhain - Eupen. From there, it becomes a quiet route, first along the Vesder for a while, then up along an old hedgerow path, towards (but not quite to) Blanc Baudet. We ultimately take a country path, from white gate to white gate, which is so characteristic of the region. Then the descent back to the Vesder begins, which we cross again. We pass through Goé. Pay special attention to the special bell tower of the church! Opposite the church entrance, we turn onto the path towards Limburg.
The church of Limburg is our landmark during this hike, high on the cliff where the town is built. During this hike, you can also see how the church juts out far over the rocks. The apse has, so to speak, an 'underground floor'.
