The Route of Flanders offers the hiker the entire sample book of the Flemish landscapes. The itinerary gives the opportunity to really explore your own country, from west to east, from Heuvelland to Leuven. Your steps lead you through a landscape of vast fields, forests and hills. Forgotten villages and charming shores are in your way. Historic cores are never far away.

The GR 128 is an international road with a long stretch through French Flanders, starting from Wissant on the French Opal Coast and a branch in Germany (terminus Aachen). These routes are marked by our French and German colleagues.

The city variant of the GR 128 via Tongeren takes you to the most remarkable places of the oldest city in Belgium.
