The circular tour along the Weser starts in Hann. Münden and takes you to the left of the Weser on the R1 cycle path to Gieselwerder. Here you cross the river and find yourself on the Weser cycle path again in the direction of Hann. Münden. After 5 km you pass Oedelsheim and reach the village of Bursfelde with the former Benedictine monastery of Bursfelde. The monastery church is open daily from 8 am to 6.30 pm. Admission is free. Continue past the villages of Glashütte and Hemeln to Gimte, where you will find a cycle path church.
